13. Certification
  • I certify to the best of my knowledge that all information ever submitted by me or on my behalf to UNH Law, including all of the information in this application and all supplemental materials which have been or will be submitted, are accurate, and given for the purpose of seeking admission to the Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program. I understand that any false or misleading statement(s) may be the basis for denial of admission to or dismissal from the program and may be the subject of an honor code violation.

For the purpose of processing this application, I acknowledge that the Selection Committee for the Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program is composed of faculty, staff, and former Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program students admitted to the bar. I authorize the University of New Hampshire School of Law to provide the Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program's Selection Committee access to and copies of any and all of my materials on file, including but not limited to admission application materials, transcripts, and any documents generated during my matriculation.

I further authorize any and all faculty, staff, and students at the University of New Hampshire School of Law, who have had contact with me as a student or who may have information to provide on my character and fitness to participate in this program, to share that information with the Director and Selection Committee of the Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program, either orally or in writing.

I acknowledge that, prior to admission to the New Hampshire Bar, persons who successfully complete the Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program must comply with all pertinent portions of New Hampshire Supreme Court Rule 42 (XII) which includes:

    1. Successfully completing the Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination (MPRE).

    2. Establishing that the applicant possesses the character and fitness to practice law in New Hampshire.

    3. Complying with any other requirements of the New Hampshire Supreme Court in effect at the time of application.

I further acknowledge that Daniel Webster Scholars must remain within commuting distance of the Law School all four semesters. Depending upon my particular interests, this could limit some Legal Residency opportunities. I understand this, have considered and accepted this requirement before making this application, and have had the opportunity to discuss this with Courtney Brooks if I chose to do so.

The Daniel Webster Scholar Honors Program will check to make sure your application is complete and will let you know if anything is missing. You will receive an acknowledgment when it is complete. Thank you.
